Working in the film industry there are 2 departments that are “adrenaline junkies” — and they totally own the rights to the rah-rah thing because what they do is not for all.

STUNTS – goes without saying for sure: Car crashes, leaping off buildings, trick riding with horses …
I love one of the t-shirts this department sports on Set. It reads – “GO BIG OR GO HOME.” Indeed.

SPECIAL EFFECTS – also goes without saying. They blow stuff up – is their biggie that’s impressive. This department loves to sport t-shirts that read, “IF YOU SEE ME RUNNING. TRY AND KEEP UP.” Duly noted.

I recall the news showing him making long, diving jumps via motorcycle over a row of cars. Full throttle!

My question is what was his biggest challenge to fame and did he die during one of those challenges? Evel Knievel was one of the first “adrenaline junkies” I ever heard of.

It appears today there are all types and varieties. It’s simply too scary to think of me ever adopting that kind of attitude.
