Wednesday greetings wondrous readers of Daymaker -

Presenting a fabulous read today full of fun and awe-some!
Beginning with Leslie Elman's Trivia Bits in both Pop Quiz and Fascinating Stuff

Of course, I've heard/read about the Frescoes style painting on the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel - but I couldn't visualize it so I did the Google thing and found *a pic and a little backstory * mind blowing! Unbelievably breathtaking.

And Sailfish can travel at speeds of 68 mph. W-H-A-T ?!!

QUICK QUESTION
Are you double jointed anywhere? My pinky finger on my right hand is double jointed.
I remember that my dad was double jointed on all fingers on both hands. As a kid that was, "WOW COOL" stuff.
Are you, or know someone who is?

THE SCHOLAR'S 4 QUESTION TALE
Is a great read. I've been pondering - and have come up with - a couple "morals to the story" sort of thing. I love tales that make me think beyond the story itself.

FRIED CATFISH WITH JALAPENO TARTAR SAUCE
Is sooooooo good. As I wrote in the recipe, we served it at Hippie Cowboy and customers were wild about it. Our little secret that made it unique was that we used my grandma Miller's recipe for frying trout. It's a must-make recipe if you're a fan of fried catfish.

Greetings!

Presenting this Monday's collection of entertaining pieces of interesting + fun + delish.

Beginning with:

THE AMAZING MACHINES
Really cool watch of the machines that perform the tasks that contribute to our day-to-day mass living we absolutely don't really wonder or think about -- like donuts to spiral notebooks to milling machines to cleaning the tops of tunnels to crushing giant items for recycling to - to - to ... Impressive!

SURPRISING ALUMINIUM FOIL USES IN OUR HOMES
Besides covering something we slide into the oven: soften brown sugar! Sharpen scissors! Keep pots and pans shiny! And more totally has my full attention. Who knew that roll of Aluminum foil in the kitchen drawer is a secret weapon to combat so many things around the house? Not me. But now I do - and so do you.

HOW TO DEBONE A ROTISSERIE CHICKEN, EXPERTLY WITH NO MESS
Is genius! Seeing + Doing = Believing. Just a mind trip of "why didn't we think of this sooner" ?

WE ALL SEE COOL HUMOR AND HAPPENSTANCE IN OUR EVERY DAY WORLDS
Get your phone/camera race ready to click and capture when you see them.

Monday greetings, friends --

Fantastic treasure finds to share today!

NATURE TIMELAPSE FREEZING
Is mesmerizing. I especially love the snow flakes. It's true; no 2 are the same. Wow!

GAME ON TONIGHT
Washington Huskies vs Michigan Wolverines. This short clip of 2 highschool teammates who played on opposing college teams is so full of sincere, wonderful love and heart.

EVOLUTION OF SKYSCRAPERS
I love rolling into a city and seeing the skyscrapers (especially at night). AWE-MAZING.
Mind bender for me wondering how do these beauties go from thought - to drawing board - and the craftsmen who actually do the "hands on" construction. Crazy cool!

RECIPES
Spice Cake with Chocolate Butter Icing
Totally makes sense, but I really never thought of the 2 together. Genius!

Tuna Noodle Casserole
I've always been a die hard fan of tuna noodle casserole, (although I don't make it that often) - but when I do - it's a roll down childhood memory lane. But THIS recipe!! OMG

Merry Merry Greetings friends and Friday!

Super fun episode today beginning with:

STEPHANIE'S CHIC ON THE CHEAP
Big fan of Stephanie's ideas for pairing and accessorizing for adding pizzazz to this wonderful time of year dressing the part!

Learned something from today's Stephanie's Chic on the Cheap column. Pic #2 - Kitten heeled boots! Me being a Birkenstock and flip-flop girl always wondered what those cute little heeled boots/shoes I see women wearing are called. Now I know!

And! the beautiful vintage brooches and little purse are super fab ideas. Same - gold belt, bangles, and the Ooo-la-la print jeans. Applause to all!

I am so gonna Bling-it-on these next days to Christmas and even a New Year's gathering (following Stephanie's fashion in the know tips) and have confident fun doing it!

Thanks, Steph, for always keeping us in the cool-kid-fashion-club!

QUICK QUESTION
When I was a kid - if memory serves me correctly - I had this little stuffed animal dog with long hair that I named Muffin. Ha! I know, super creative, right? I did also have a Charlie McCarthy ventriloquist doll. It was a Christmas gift from Santa one year. But he came with his name.

HEY-HEY EVERYONE!

Presenting Daymaker Readable Art's Wednesday Reader. Terrific line-up today.

I've never really thought about the Quick Question regarding do fish ever get thirsty? Ha! Probably not.

The POWER OF PUNCTUATION "speaks" for itself. Pretty cool.

My first pet memory was a doberman by the name of Mitzi (my dad was a big fan of dobies). We lived in Merriam, Kansas at the time.

Wednesday Greetings, Readers!

Halloween season is upon us. Have any plans or cool decorations you're displaying outside for all to see?

Today's Wednesday Reader is full of fun and mischief.

Beginning with Quick Question -
What is something that used to scare you, but no longer does? I can think of 2. But I'm not telling. You?

Casanova cheesy lines are indeed cheesy - and they're a hoot!

REMEMBER PAY PHONES AND PHONE BOOTHS? Gosh, they sure have gone away, haven't they?
Question - when's the last time you saw one or the other?

I remember working on a commercial not that long ago. The Craft Service person said that she and her 8 year old daughter were watching an older movie several nights before and one of the actors in the movie made a call in a phone booth.
Her daughter said, "Mom, what's that thing all about?"

I rolled with laughter!

HELLO HAPPY READERS AND GREETINGS 2nd TO THE LAST WEDNESDAY IN SEPTEMBER

Presenting Wednesday Reader. It's packed full and a great read.

Leslie Elman does it again with the Pop Quiz and Fascinating Facts. Giving us material to be the most interesting person in the room.

I don't think I mentioned this before - but Leslie writes Q & A for Pub quizzes around the world. How cool is that? And you get to read her here!

Quick Question re: what's our favorite day of the week. Interesting - I actually believe we all have a favorite day even if we haven't called it out. Mine is Thursday. You?

Who knew that a Cronut was a thing? Not me.

Fun line-up of cool reading in today's Wednesday Reader.

As an English major -- I did not know the answer in the Pop Quiz regarding Shakespeare and how he took out the majority of his characters.

QUICK QUESTION -
What's the weirdest thing I've seen multiple times on the side of the road. Hands down -- One shoe. You?

I love. love. love. the God Bless Teacher Story.
I'll be frank - not all teachers are created equally. My mom was a teacher -- 1st grade -- for years. My mom was a Bonnie teacher (as in the story). Hat tip, Mama.

I remember - clearly - 4 teachers :
Mrs. Simon, Ms. Potter, Mr. Warren and Mrs. Bailey who there is no doubt in my mind made an impact on my young life to who I am today.

You?

Chicken Parmesan Recipe is sooooooo delish.
