Boy, oh, boy, do I totally have a couple pair of "favorite" jeans that I just haven't been able to part with because we've been hanging out together a long time -- however, they have aged and have that yellow tinge thing going on that Steph talks about in her column today.  I just dug them out from the top of the closet and they are so going to go in the recipe - to soak and see if they, too, will be revived as Stephanie's jeans did!  Excited.

I also love Steph's iron-on patch fix = a one-of-of-a-kind pair of jeans.  Ta-Dah!

Met Steph for lunch today, which was a super chill time and she gifted me a tank top that didn't work for her (color wise).  Sure does for me!  And she purchased it from Temu.com.

I'm a Temu.com believer and will be shopping there more and more.

It's crazy warm here.  Like low 70's!

Heard one of the D.J.'s on the radio station today say, "I wouldn't have ever thought I'd be rocking shorts and flip-flops to work in early February - but I am.  And I'm not complaining!"

I wasn't rocking shorts and flip-flops - but I was absolutely enjoying the warm temps today.  Enjoying it while it lasts!

Learned something from today's Stephanie's Chic on the Cheap column.  Pic #2 - Kitten heeled boots!  Me being a Birkenstock and flip-flop girl always wondered what those cute little heeled boots/shoes I see women wearing are called.  Now I know!

And!  the beautiful vintage brooches and little purse are super fab ideas.  Same - gold belt, bangles, and the Ooo-la-la print jeans.  Applause to all!

I am so gonna Bling-it-on these next days to Christmas and even a New Year's gathering (following Stephanie's fashion in the know tips) and have confident fun doing it!

We had a crazy storm that blew through here Wednesday night.  Not just "a" storm but the threat of a possible tornado in the area.

Felt a little like a white knuckle ride -- as the tornado sirens were heard loudly in the night - warnings of take cover sort of thing - this is not a test.  YIKES!

My wonderful neighbors = friends had me in their thoughts.  Texting or calling -- "get in the bathroom," "make sure you have your running shoes on and your purse close ... in case ..."  "Are you okay?"

"Copy."   "Copy."   "Yes."  were my responses via text.

My little freeloaders (aka cats) were less than impressed with the lock-down time in the bathroom -- but they're over it now.  They have short-term memories.  Ha!

Torrential rain, crazy wind, etc ...

Long story short - tornado blew over our part of the world with no damage and went whipping away somewhere else.  Hopefully back up in the sky where it started!
