A story about the angel that tells of "kindness unaware" during these current times of "othering" and cruel intentions (that I can't make sense of0, is a welcome start to my day. Thanks for that. And, for all the recipes! I love the thought of cooking a chocolate cake over a campfire!

I've been craving crab cakes since my sister-in-law mentioned them last week, and was delighted to see Daymaker's headline this morning: Crab Cake Ceasar Salad. Must try!

Also homed in on Breakfast Tostados. I've long been a fan of Breakfast Tacos and Tostados sounds even better. Tostados added to the grocery list!!!

I'm a sucker for angels and The Pink Dress touched my heart. How often do we miss seeing the angels in our lives. . .

Thank you, Daymaker. The week is off to a fabulous start!

I loved Daymaker's info today on Hummingbirds as they line up with the most popular yellow finch and red sparrows in our garden. Yes, one has to keep an eye on the feeders as they can get visible bacteria growing rather quickly especially warmer days grow faster bacteria. My solution in the spring, I shop Dollar Tree and buy at least 8 feeders as back up storage and gift giving. As the manager warned me once the spring order has emptied out there are no more hummingbird feeders until next year. In our area we feed hummers year around. While many varieties of hummers fly south in the winter one breed called the Anna stays around. I rotate my 2 feeders weekly with clean feeders and place used ones into soapy water in garage sink. FYI Homemade syrup. 4 parts boiling water to one part sugar. Hey that's my system and I'm sticking to it. Onward.
